ACTREC Post Doctoral Fellow Recruitment 2026: Overview

Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC), part of Tata Memorial Centre, is recruiting a Post Doctoral Fellow for a cancer therapeutics project at Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. ACTREC is a grant-in-aid institution of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. The project focuses on the anti-apoptotic cFLIP-CaM interaction, with the aim of restoring tumour cells' sensitivity to death ligands.

Service Conditions and Caveats

Project tenure: The initial engagement lasts six months. You will join on a project contract, with the appointment linked to the research described in this notice.
Progress review: ACTREC will monitor your work during the appointment. The contract may be extended, so continuation is a possibility rather than a confirmed part of the initial term.

Perform gene cloning, subcloning and site-directed mutagenesis.
Isolate plasmids for molecular biology experiments.
Run MTT and flow cytometry assays.
Carry out Western blotting and co-immunoprecipitation assays.
Conduct apoptosis-related cell assays.
Use biochemical, biophysical and structural biology studies to investigate protein interactions and their molecular mechanisms.
