ACTREC Field Supervisor Recruitment 2026: Overview

Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), funded by the Department of Atomic Energy, needs a Field Supervisor for a research project run by its Centre for Cancer Epidemiology (CCE) at the Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC), Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. The project collects community cause-of-death data, so most of your time goes into organising field teams and working with local health bodies rather than sitting at a desk.

The selection is a one-day walk-in interview, and there is no online form. Anyone who has worked as a health worker, field supervisor or on public-health field activities is the natural fit.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project tenure: You are engaged for six months to begin with, or only until the project continues — whichever ends first.
• Project post: This is a project engagement, not a regular TMC position, and it depends on the project's funding.
• Local know-how helps: The notice prefers people who know the local language(s) and understand how the Mumbai municipal health system works.
• Computer skills: You should be comfortable with MS Office and with writing reports, since data quality and timely reporting are core to the job.
