SGOU Data Entry Operator Recruitment 2026

SGOU Data Entry Operator Recruitment 2026: Overview

Sreenarayanaguru Open University (SGOU) in Kollam has reopened its Data Entry Operator (DEO) recruitment. The engagement is on contract, and the re-notification includes the original notice so you can read the unchanged terms alongside the reopening. Its main practical point is that previous applications remain under consideration, while people who did not apply earlier can now use the reopened window.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract engagement: The attached original notification describes the DEO appointment as a contract post. Keep this employment basis in mind when deciding whether the opportunity fits your plans.
• Earlier applicants: If you already applied under the original advertisement, you do not need to apply again. SGOU will consider the application it has already received from you.
• Credential updates: Previous applicants can update their credentials. This option lets you bring your existing record up to date without treating the reopening as a requirement to make a second application.
• First-time applicants: The reopened window also covers people who did not respond to the earlier notice. Your application is still governed by the conditions attached to that original recruitment.
• Unchanged terms: The university expressly keeps the other terms of the original notification in force. Read the re-notification and its attached original together, because the reopening does not replace the underlying conditions.

Corrigenda and Notices

• Re-notification dated 7 October 2026: SGOU reopened the recruitment first advertised under Ad.A3/1/271/SOU/2025 on 29 October 2025. The new notice preserves earlier applications and allows credential updates, alongside applications from people who missed the previous window.
