SGOU IT Multi-Post Recruitment 2026: Overview
Sreenarayanaguru Open University (SGOU) is recruiting technical staff on contract at Kollam. The notice brings together software development, testing, networking and operational support appointments. For you, the main distinction is the area of professional work: the operational support posts focus on academic Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) workflows, while the other posts cover separate software and network specialisms.
Posts and Disciplines
- Software Developer: The software development post in this technical recruitment notice.
- Software Tester: A separate software testing appointment, distinct from the developer post.
- Network Engineer: The networking appointment, associated with network administration and troubleshooting.
- Operational Support Team Leader: The team leader appointment within academic ERP operational support.
- Operational Support Engineer: The engineering appointment within the same academic ERP support area.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Contract status: These appointments give you no claim to regular employment or absorption at the university. Treat each role as a contract engagement when considering your application.
- Terms of engagement: SGOU will determine the engagement period and other service conditions from time to time. The notice does not promise a fixed renewal arrangement.
- University discretion: SGOU can change the number of openings, leave some or all posts unfilled, or cancel the recruitment without giving a reason.
- Application status: Sending an application does not guarantee a call for further assessment or an appointment. The university’s decisions on recruitment will be final.
- Conduct and completeness: Canvassing leads to disqualification. Incomplete forms and applications received after the relevant deadline will be rejected.
Application Submission Notes
A signed paper copy is also required after you apply online. Send the printed application and the supporting copies specified in the notice to The Registrar, Sreenarayanaguru Open University, Kollam, 691601.
