The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB), Bhopal has released the Rulebook for 200 Patwari posts under the Land Resource Management Department (Revenue Department), Gwalior. These posts are part of a special recruitment drive reserved only for candidates with disabilities, running alongside the larger Group-2 Sub-Group-4 Combined Recruitment Exam 2026 (which covers 2,306 posts across many MP government departments under a separate rulebook). This particular rulebook and exam is only for the 200 Patwari (Divyang Category) vacancies — general candidates without a valid disability certificate cannot apply through this drive. Vacancies are open across all districts of Madhya Pradesh, and you can indicate your preferred posting district in the application form.

These 200 Patwari (Divyang) posts are separate from the wider 2,106-post Group-2 Sub-Group-4 combined recruitment exam, which covers 161 different post codes such as Revenue Inspector, Assistant Grade-3, Computer Operator, and Surveyor across various MP government departments (General: 608, EWS: 207, SC: 274, ST: 404, OBC: 613). Selected Patwari candidates will serve on a district-level cadre, based on the district preference you submit and your merit rank.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized (UGC or state-recognized) university.
• Domicile: You must be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh.
• Disability Category: All 200 posts are reserved for Divyang (PWD) candidates — Hearing Impaired (EH): 94 posts, Locomotor Disability (LD): 45 posts, and Multiple Disability/Autism/Intellectual Disability (MD): 61 posts. Visually impaired candidates are not eligible for the Patwari post as per Revenue Department orders.
• CPCT Requirement: You need a valid CPCT (Computer Proficiency Certification Test) score card covering Hindi Typing and Computer Proficiency. If you don't have it yet, you can still apply, but you must clear it within 3 years of your probation period.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 45 years old as on 1 January 2026.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get Pay Band Rs. 5,200 to Rs. 20,200 with Grade Pay Rs. 2,100 (7th CPC Level 3 equivalent).
• You will also get DA, HRA, TA and other allowances as per Madhya Pradesh government rules.

• General / Unreserved: Rs. 500
• SC / ST / OBC / EWS / PWD (MP Domicile): Rs. 250
• Portal Charge: Rs. 20 to Rs. 60 extra, in addition to the exam fee
• Payment mode: Online. The fee is non-refundable once submitted.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in 2 stages:

1. Computer Based Test (CBT): Two papers worth 100 marks each (200 marks total). Paper 1 covers General Science, General Hindi, General English and General Mathematics. Paper 2 covers General Knowledge and Aptitude, General Computer, General Reasoning and General Management.
2. Document Verification

There is no interview for this post — your final selection depends only on your CBT score and document verification. The exam will be held from 22 September 2026 onwards, in two shifts, at centres including Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Khandwa, Neemuch, Ratlam, Rewa, Sagar, Satna, Sidhi and Ujjain. Since the exam runs over multiple days and shifts across the state, check your admit card carefully for your exact date, shift, and reporting time.

How to Apply

Keep these documents ready before you start: graduation certificate/mark sheet, disability (Divyang) certificate, domicile certificate, a recent photograph, and your CPCT score card (if you already have one).

2. Find the Patwari (Divyang Category) notification and click Apply Online.
3. Register yourself and fill in the online application form.
4. Upload your disability certificate, photo, and other required documents.
5. Pay the application fee online.
6. Submit the form and save a printout for your records.
