Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract term: The initial engagement is for one year, with a possible extension based on performance. Finishing the contract does not give you a right to an extension, regular appointment or permanent employment at IIT Madras.
• School setting: The School of Sustainability works across the institute's departments. Its programmes bring students, industry and policymakers into discussions about sustainability, alongside research that connects scientific knowledge with policy and business.
• Course partnership: The school develops this teaching initiative with the institute's Center for Outreach and Digital Education (CODE). The role sits between the school's technical team, course experts and the digital education team.
• Application accuracy: IIT Madras relies on the information you enter when assessing your application. An incorrect statement or unsupported claim can lead to rejection, even if you have already received a call for further assessment.
• Changes after submission: You cannot edit or reverse a submitted application. Check the relevant advertisement number and the information you enter before final submission.
