AIIMS Jammu Faculty Recruitment 2026: Overview

All India Institute of Medical Sciences Jammu (AIIMS Jammu) is recruiting regular faculty for its campus at Vijaypur in Samba. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Full-time service: private practice is prohibited. You would join the institute as a regular faculty member with a two-year probation period.
• Joining: the normal joining window is 30 days from the appointment letter. An extension needs exceptional circumstances and approval from the competent authority.
• Choice of appointment: if you receive offers for more than one post, you cannot switch to another offered post after joining your chosen appointment.
• Ongoing courses: you must finish any DM, MCh or fellowship programme before the joining deadline in your offer. The institute will not allow you to join as faculty while continuing that course or extend joining solely to finish it.
• Housing: campus accommodation may not be available immediately. The institute notes that availability is limited, so you should not assume a residence will be ready when you join.
• Vacation: regular faculty become entitled to vacation only after completing six months of service. Completing that period after a vacation has already started does not make you entitled to that vacation.
• Retirement arrangements: the notice places appointed employees under the New Pension Scheme.
• Reservation: the notice provides horizontal reservation for persons with benchmark disabilities. Claims are subject to the institute's assessment of suitability for the particular post.
• Recruitment changes: AIIMS Jammu may change the advertised posts or leave posts unfilled. Inclusion in the selected list does not itself guarantee appointment.

Missing the hard-copy requirement cancels your candidature.
