Service Conditions and Caveats

• Initial engagement: The first appointment can run for up to two years. Further extensions can be approved for one year at a time, depending on your performance, conduct, the department's needs and the controlling officer's recommendation.
• Scheme dependence: The posts continue only while the Government of India operates the scheme. If the scheme ends, the posts end too, and the department does not take responsibility for further employment.
