NIT Srinagar JRF Recruitment 2026: Overview

National Institute of Technology Srinagar (NIT Srinagar) is looking for a Junior Research Fellow for its Water Resource Management Centre (WRMC) at the Hazratbal campus. The fellow will work on a sponsored study of how climate change will affect the combined hydropower potential of the Jammu and Kashmir regions, using WEAP-CORDEX climate ensembles together with machine learning. The project is funded by the J&K Science Technology & Innovation Council (JKSTIC) and led by Dr. V. Venkateswarlu of the Department of Civil Engineering.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: The fellowship runs for one year at first and can be extended for one more year if your performance is good.
