National Institute of Technology Goa (NIT Goa) has released Advertisement No. NITGOA/RECT/CONT/2026/52 for 1 Field Technician (Electrical) post in its Estate Office. This is a purely temporary appointment for 6 months, which the Institute may extend for another 6 months based on your performance. Candidates with hands-on experience in electrical substations get preference — this role suits ITI-trained electricians or diploma holders who already have field experience and want to work at a central government technical institute in Goa.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: Senior Secondary (10+2) with at least 50% marks and an ITI course of 1 year or higher duration in the relevant trade, OR Secondary (10th) with at least 60% marks and a 2-year ITI Certificate in the relevant trade, OR a 3-year Diploma in Engineering in the relevant field from a recognized polytechnic/institute.
• Experience: You need a minimum of 5 years of experience in the relevant trade. Candidates with 10 years of experience, especially in electrical substations, will be preferred.

Salary

• You will get a consolidated pay of Rs. 33,000 per month for this post.
• This is a fixed consolidated amount — no separate pay scale or pay level applies since the post is on a temporary/contract basis.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

NIT Goa will select candidates through document screening followed by an interview:
