NHSRC Consultant Recruitment 2026

National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC) is inviting applications for 2 Consultant posts under its ED Secretariat and Knowledge Management Division (KMD). NHSRC is an autonomous body under the National Health Mission (NHM), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), Government of India. This is a contract-based position posted at the NIHFW Campus, Munirka, New Delhi.

Who Can Apply

You need one of the following qualifications (regular/full-time course only):

• MBBS or BDS with a postgraduate degree such as MD in Community Medicine, MD in Preventive and Social Medicine (PSM), or Master of Public Health (MPH)
• Postgraduate degree in Social Science in Health

Along with the above, you must have at least 2 years of post-qualification work experience in public health or health systems. Candidates with published work in health systems or public health will be preferred.

Age Limit

Your age must not be more than 45 years as on 17 March 2026 (last date of application).

Salary

The salary is Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 1,20,000 per month (consolidated). The exact amount depends on your qualifications and experience.

Selection Process

There is no written exam. Selection will happen in two steps:

1. Shortlisting of applications based on your qualifications and experience
2. Personal interview for shortlisted candidates

Posting Location

Selected candidates will be posted at NIHFW Campus, Munirka, New Delhi. The role may also require travel to states and districts for official work.

Contract Terms

This is an initial contract period. The contract may be extended based on your performance.
