Power Foundation of India (PFI), an autonomous society under the Ministry of Power, is recruiting Executive Trainees in Electrical Engineering for regular, full-time service. Its work covers power-sector policy research, regulatory analysis, technical studies and knowledge support. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Training: You will complete a one-year programme covering power policy, regulation, generation, transmission and distribution. The programme also introduces renewable energy, energy transition and the wider changes taking place in the sector.
• Research exposure: Training includes power-sector data analysis, electricity markets and sector reforms. You will also gain exposure to reports, studies, presentations, stakeholder consultations and industry interactions.
• After training: PFI may place or continue you in suitable functions after you successfully complete the programme. This depends on satisfactory performance and meeting the applicable conditions.
• Probation: You will be on probation for one year from appointment. Confirmation depends on your performance, conduct and compliance with the organisation's requirements.
• Service commitment: The notice specifies a service bond of Rs. 2,00,000 to serve PFI for at least three years after successful completion of the one-year training. Read this commitment carefully before accepting an offer.
• Work allocation: Selection does not guarantee a particular posting, role or career progression. You must be ready to work in a function or area that PFI assigns in the organisation's interest.
• Recruitment changes: PFI can revise the number of positions, leave positions unfilled, or change or cancel the recruitment. It can also change shortlisting criteria and qualifying standards depending on the response.
