LIC HFL Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Overview

LIC Housing Finance Limited (LIC HFL) is taking fresh graduates as Apprentices in its branch offices across India under its Apprenticeship Program-010. This is 12 months of on-the-job training in a housing-finance company, where you pick up soft skills, domain knowledge and real office experience. The seats are spread over branch cities in more than two dozen states and union territories, with the biggest clusters in Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra and Karnataka, so most graduates will find a training branch reasonably close to home.

The whole drive runs online through the government's NATS apprenticeship portal and the BFSI Sector Skill Council of India (BFSI SSC), which conducts the entrance test. If you are a recent graduate who has never done an apprenticeship before, this is a paid way to get a well-known finance name on your CV.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Not a job: Apprenticeship is not employment and apprentices are only trainees. LIC HFL is not obliged to offer you a full-time job after the programme.
• Certificate: On finishing, you get a Proficiency Certificate from BOAT, and BFSI SSC can share information about openings in banks, insurers and other finance companies.
• No earlier apprenticeship: You cannot apply if you have a running, terminated or completed apprenticeship contract with any other organisation.
• Stipend by city: Trainees in the nine metro cities (Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune and Surat) get the higher stipend; other cities get the lower rate.
• Exam from home: The entrance test is remote-proctored. You need a smartphone or camera-enabled device, a good internet connection and a private room; only PwBD candidates may have someone near them.
• Matching details: Your exam registration details must match your NATS profile; any mismatch can cost you your candidature.
• Answer-pattern checks: The test agency compares answer patterns across candidates, and LIC HFL can cancel results that look shared or copied.

Application Submission Notes

You apply in two places. First register and apply on the NATS portal under the Student Register/Login section, then find the LICHFL apprenticeship advertisement after logging in. Write down your NATS Enrolment ID, because every later message refers to it.

Eligible applicants then get an email from BFSI SSC (info@updates.bfsissc.com) asking for extra details, including your choice of training districts, and the exam fee, which you pay on beep.bfsissc.com.
