Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH) is hiring a contractual technology team for its DISHA digital campus platform at Kandi, Sangareddy, Telangana. The work connects software architecture, artificial intelligence, web development and business analysis across the institute’s digital services. These roles support systems used for academic work, research, administration and student services.

Posts and Disciplines

• Senior Architect: Guide the design and technical standards of the institute’s enterprise platforms, including reliability, security and integration.
• AI Engineer: Build artificial intelligence features and services for the DISHA platform, including tools that work with institutional information.
• MERN Full Stack Developer: Develop web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js and Node.js, covering the user interface and server-side services.
• Business Analyst: Connect institutional needs with the development team through clear requirements, process documentation and solution checks.

Post-wise Duties

Senior Architect

You will set the architecture direction for secure systems that can keep running reliably as demand grows. Your work includes integration design, recovery planning, technical reviews and guidance for developers. You will also keep architecture records and help teams choose suitable technology.

AI Engineer

You will build AI assistants, intelligent search and document-based services that connect with existing applications. The role covers workflows using large language models, model-output evaluation and safeguards for data access. You will improve how these services perform and keep their code and technical notes usable by the wider team.

MERN Full Stack Developer

You will develop web interfaces and application services, linking them to databases and access-control systems. Your work includes reusable interface components, performance improvements, testing and code reviews. You will work with design teams to turn interface designs into functioning pages.

Business Analyst

You will turn stakeholder needs into clear business and functional requirements. You will help with sprint planning, user acceptance testing and process-flow documentation, while tracking requirements through delivery. Dashboards, reports and presentations are also part of the role.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: The initial contract lasts 11 months. An extension depends on performance and the institute’s needs; the engagement does not create a claim to regular employment.
• Working time: You will normally work 8 hours a day, 6 days a week. The institute may also call you in on weekends or holidays when needed.
• Accommodation: Campus housing is not an automatic entitlement. IITH may consider it individually if your services are essential and suitable accommodation is available, with the applicable licence fee.
• Termination: Either side may end the contract with one month’s notice.
• Insurance: You must keep valid health insurance throughout the engagement at your own expense. Institute medical access is limited, and outside medical expenses are not reimbursed.
• Travel: IITH will not pay travel or daily allowances for attending the selection.
• Institute discretion: The institute can revise the advertised positions, restrict shortlisting or cancel communications if it detects an error. It may reject applications without giving reasons.
• Recruitment communication: Keep your registered email active, including checking the spam folder. Recruitment updates and corrigenda will appear on the institute’s website.
• Application finality: Changes are not accepted after final submission. False information can cancel your candidature or end an appointment without notice or compensation.
