IIMB Post-Doctoral Research Associate Recruitment 2026: Overview

Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB), an Institute of National Importance under the IIM Act of 2017, is hiring a Post-Doctoral Research Associate for its Jal Jeevan Mission work. You will report directly to the Chair Professor, Jal Jeevan Mission, and help run applied research on rural drinking water and sanitation in India.

The research is tied to two national goals: 'Har Ghar Jal' (tap water for every rural home) and ODF Plus (keeping villages open-defecation free and managing their waste). This is not a desk-only research job — you will also support training, capacity-building and outreach programmes built around the sector's real problems.
