Post-wise Duties

Consultant Legal

You will coordinate with advocates, review agreements and track litigation for HMT's legal department. The role includes court and tribunal representation, eviction proceedings and replies to legal notices.

Consultant Finance

You will oversee financial statements, taxation and budgeting, alongside working capital and investment matters. You will also coordinate audits and guide units when statutory requirements change.

Young Professionals Finance

Both finance levels support banking, accounts and statutory returns. You will work on payments, loans, wages, management information and audit follow-up. The senior professional supports the department head while independently handling assigned transactions.

Young Professional Official Language

You will support Hindi and English communication, official language returns and Hindi training activities. Translation, bilingual typing and coordination for Hindi annual reports form part of this work.

Young Professional Company Secretary

You will prepare board and committee papers, maintain statutory registers and handle electronic filings. You will also communicate with regulators and coordinate with auditors for the annual report.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract: Young Professionals begin with a two-year engagement, with possible yearly extensions for up to two further years. Continuation depends on performance and company needs.
• No permanent appointment: The engagement does not fill a permanent vacancy or create a right to regular employment. The notice treats the engaged person as an independent professional.
• Posting flexibility: The advertised workplace is Bengaluru, but management may recommend or select you for an HMT subsidiary or unit.
• Travel: Outstation applicants called for an in-person interview can claim the shortest-route second-class return train fare against journey proof.
• Company discretion: HMT may change or cancel the recruitment. Workplace conduct obligations apply throughout the contract, and breaches can lead to termination and legal action.
