Hanumakonda AYUSH Multi-Post Recruitment 2026: Overview

The Collector and District Magistrate, Hanumakonda District is filling five categories of AYUSH posts for the Department of AYUSH, Telangana under the National AYUSH Mission. The people selected will run AYUSH public health programmes in Hanumakonda and report to the Director of AYUSH in Secunderabad. The state cleared a large batch of AYUSH service posts in August 2026, and this notice fills only the share sanctioned for Hanumakonda — so the openings are few and local.

This is an outsourcing engagement up to 31 March 2027, not a regular government post. A District Selection Committee chaired by the Collector picks candidates mainly on the marks of your qualifying exam, with extra weightage for age. If you hold an Ayurveda, Unani, Homoeopathy or Naturopathy degree, a pharmacy qualification, an MSW, or have passed Class 7 and can ride a two-wheeler, there is a post here for you.

Posts and Disciplines

• AYUSH Medical Officer: for doctors from the Ayurveda, Unani, Homoeopathy or Naturopathy systems who have finished the full degree with internship. This is a multi-zonal cadre post.
• Pharmacist: a district cadre post for D.Pharm, B.Pharm or Pharm.D holders registered with the Telangana Pharmacy Council.
• Psychosocial Counselor: an on-call role for MSW graduates, paid per session rather than a fixed monthly amount.
• Yoga Professional: open to holders of a Naturopathy degree or a Diploma in Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences.
• Multi Purpose Worker (MPW): a field post where you must be able to ride a bicycle or motorcycle; it is the only post filled through a written test.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: The engagement runs up to 31 March 2027; after that it continues only if there is a need and your work is satisfactory.
• Outsourcing basis: You are engaged through outsourcing, under the administrative control of the Director, Department of AYUSH, Secunderabad.
• Medical Officer unit: You can apply in any district of the concerned multi-zone, but you will be selected for only one district.
• Local reservation: The notice lists a 95% local reservation, and reservation for local candidates follows the Presidential Order.
• Reservation rules: Community, disability and ex-servicemen reservation follows the Telangana State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1996, and the final list follows the roster points in the notice.
• Counselor panel: For the Psychosocial Counselor post, the committee may build a panel of qualified people and call them in as needed.
• Merit list: The merit list will be displayed on the website for transparency.
