ACTREC Senior Resident Onco Pathology Recruitment 2026: Overview

Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC), part of Tata Memorial Centre, is recruiting a Senior Resident in Onco-Pathology at its Kharghar campus in Navi Mumbai. ACTREC is a grant-in-aid institute of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. This is a fixed-tenure residency with a walk-in interview, and immediate joining is part of the appointment conditions.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: The appointment runs up to 31 July 2027. You should be ready to join immediately if selected.
• Campus accommodation: Hostel accommodation may be available on campus. Allotment depends on availability, so the notice does not guarantee a room.
• Security deposit: The Senior Resident must provide a caution deposit of Rs. 1,33,623 at joining. Alternatively, ACTREC can recover it through five equal deductions from salary.
• Deposit refund: The deposit earns no interest. The notice provides for its return after completion of the residency or the stated fellowship period.
• Leaving during the tenure: You can resign after completing five months of service by giving one month of notice, making six months of total service. The deposit can be refunded when you meet these conditions.
• Notice-period penalty: Leaving without serving the required notice means losing the final month of salary, covering 30 days. Keep this condition in mind when planning a move to another appointment.
• Institutional discretion: Tata Memorial Centre can cancel the posts. The Director has the final say on the recruitment decisions described in the notice.
