The Rajasthan State Legal Services Authority (RSLSA) wants Legal Researchers on contract under its own Scheme for Engaging Legal Researcher by RSLSA. The researchers will work with the authority's offices at Jodhpur and Jaipur, and the engagement can run for up to two years. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Final-semester students: You can apply while you are still in your final semester, but you must submit your final pass result before the selection process is completed.
• No private practice: You have to sign an undertaking on the prescribed format that, while engaged as a Legal Researcher, you will not practise in any court of law or take up any other professional work.
• Fixed term: The engagement is contractual for a term of up to two years under the RSLSA scheme.
• Character references: The form asks for two responsible persons who can vouch for your integrity and character; they cannot be your blood relatives.
• Disclosures: You must declare any criminal case, any civil or criminal litigation you are party to, and any debarment from an exam or institute.

You can use Speed Post, Registered Post or courier, or hand it in at the office during working hours. RSLSA is not responsible for postal delays, so post it early.

• Envelope: Write "APPLICATION FOR THE LEGAL RESEARCHER" on the envelope and put only one application inside — an envelope with more than one form is rejected.
• Photo and signature: Paste a coloured passport-size photo taken in the last six months and sign across it; a form without a photo or signature is rejected.
• Checklist: Attach a checklist listing every certificate and testimonial you have enclosed.
