Maharashtra Information Technology Corporation Limited (MahaIT), the Government of Maharashtra's own IT company, is looking for Head of Department (HOD) – IT Software Services. MahaIT builds and runs state platforms such as Aaple Sarkar and MahaDBT, and this role heads the software delivery arm behind that work. This is a senior techno-functional and administrative leadership role, not a pure engineering job. The work spans three areas: technology and software delivery (roadmaps, architecture standards, AI/ML and cloud migration), government engagement (working with Principal Secretaries and departments such as Revenue, Health, Education and Agriculture), and programme management and administration (PMO, budgets, audits and team building). Multilingual citizen services in Marathi, Hindi and English are part of the brief.

Service Conditions and Caveats
