Indian Institute of Science (IISc) is hiring Clinical Psychologists for its Wellness Centre in Bengaluru. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Initial tenure: Your contract starts from the date you join and initially runs for one year. IISc can renew it annually, subject to satisfactory performance and its requirements, up to a maximum total tenure of five years.
• Earlier IISc service: If you previously worked at IISc through an HR Department appointment, that service counts towards the maximum permissible tenure. You should therefore read the renewal provision together with your earlier service history.
• Contract status: This appointment does not give you a claim to a permanent job or regularisation against a future vacancy. The notice also rules out claims to service benefits such as provident fund, pension, seniority and promotion from this contract appointment.
• Ending the contract: Either you or the institute can end the engagement by giving one month's notice. This condition applies during the contractual appointment.
• Campus accommodation: IISc will not provide accommodation on campus during your stay. Keep this condition in mind when considering an appointment based in Bengaluru.
• Category choices: IISc will not accept a later request to change an unreserved application to a reserved category. It also will not allow a switch from one reserved category to another after you make that choice.
• Recruitment communication: Only shortlisted applicants receive interview call letters by email. Keep your registered email account active and check it regularly, because IISc will not correspond with applicants who are not shortlisted.
• Interview arrangements: IISc may use an electronic interview platform and will communicate that arrangement in advance. If you attend in person, the institute will not pay travel or daily allowances.
• Scrutiny and cancellation: The institute can restrict the shortlist based on qualifications or experience and may cancel the recruitment. Incorrect information, concealed facts or false certificates can lead to rejection or termination, including after joining.
