Zila Panchayat Surajpur in Chhattisgarh is filling Gram Panchayat Sachiv (Panchayat Secretary) posts in the newly created gram panchayats of the district. The drive follows orders from the Panchayat and Rural Development Department and the Panchayat Directorate, Nava Raipur, issued in 2026 to staff these new panchayats. This is a regular post in the Chhattisgarh panchayat service with a pay scale, grade pay and dearness allowance, not a short contract.

The post is open only to permanent residents of Surajpur district. If you passed Class 12 and hold a one-year Data Entry Operator or Programming diploma, you can apply. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Past record: Anyone dismissed from an earlier job on charges cannot apply. If a criminal case is pending against you in any court, you must disclose it in an affidavit attached to the form.
• Number of posts: The district may increase or reduce the posts, and no claim is allowed on that basis.
