Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal is hiring a Technical Coordinator on contract for its Centres of Excellence for Rare Diseases. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Initial tenure: The appointment is for six months. You should treat this as a defined contract period when considering the offer.
• Possible extension: RIMS may extend the engagement according to the centre's requirements and your performance. An extension is conditional rather than automatic.
• Scheme-linked end: The engagement ends with the scheme. If the scheme finishes before the stated contract period, the appointment ends earlier as well.
• Regular appointment: The contract does not give you a right to a regular post at RIMS. The same condition continues to apply if your engagement is extended.
• Contract agreement: The engagement takes effect after the contract agreement is finalised following the Selection Committee's recommendation. A recommendation and a finalised agreement are both part of the appointment arrangement described in the notice.

• Coordinate the Rare Diseases Clinic and support planning and delivery of rare-disease activities.
• Work with clinical departments on investigations, diagnosis and treatment plans, and guide patients and carers.
• Support patient-assistance paperwork, application review and approval processes.
• Coordinate funding, compliance, equipment proposals and utilisation certificates with government bodies and linked centres.
• Track medicine procurement and treatment supplies to support timely therapy.
• Guide Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) ID creation, update the Rare Disease Registry and keep digital and paper patient records confidential.
• Prepare data analyses, reports and dashboards for ministry and internal reviews.
• Organise training and awareness activities, prepare public information materials and support treatment guidelines and standard operating procedures.
