Jind Court Stenographer Grade III Recruitment 2026: Overview

The Office of the District and Sessions Judge, Jind, is recruiting Stenographers Grade III for its Sessions Division in Haryana. These are ad hoc appointments while regular recruitment is completed through the High Court. Your engagement is tied to this temporary staffing arrangement.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: You may serve for six months or until the High Court makes regular appointments, whichever happens first. The advertised period is therefore an upper limit, not a guaranteed length of service.
• Changing court requirements: Openings may increase or decrease if courts are created or withdrawn, or for other reasons during recruitment. The office will not send separate communication about such changes.
• Reserved posts: Where applicants from a reserved category are unavailable, the office may consider available unreserved applicants under Rule 7 of the Haryana Subordinate Court Establishment recruitment and service rules.
• Serving employees: If you work in a government or semi-government department, corporation or board, apply through the proper channel.
• Recruitment updates: Check the Sessions Division website for the test venue, timing and later announcements. You will not receive a separate test communication from the office.
• Rejected applications: Incomplete forms and those received outside the accepted application period will be rejected without individual communication. The office will publish its rejection list online.
• Travel expenses: You must meet your own travel costs when attending. No travel or daily allowance is payable.

Send your original application in the prescribed format to the Superintendent, Sessions Division, Jind, by registered post or deliver it by hand. Write “Application for the post of Stenographer Grade-III (Adhoc basis)” on the top of the envelope.

Email and WhatsApp submissions are not accepted. The office must receive your application within the notified window, so allow for postal delivery time. The prescribed form is included with the employment notice and is also available through the Sessions Division website.
