I4IC Accounts Officer Recruitment 2026: Overview

Industry 4.0 Innovation Centre (I4IC) is a Society set up after the Union Budget announcement on CPSE-led Hi-Tech Tool Rooms and Service Bureaus. It runs a Hi-Tech Tool Room and Service Bureau in Guwahati, Assam, with a spoke at Barauni, Bihar, and works as a shared facility where CPSEs, MSMEs, private industry and startups can use Industry 4.0 and frontier technologies.

The centre now wants one Accounts Officer to look after its books and financial management at the Guwahati office. This is a fixed-term contract, not a regular government post. It suits a CA or CMA Intermediate-qualified graduate who has already kept accounts for a government office, PSU, society, trust or project, because that kind of background gets preference.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract terms: Either side can end the contract at any time with 30 days' notice.
• Posting and housing: You will be posted at Guwahati and must arrange your own accommodation; no separate HRA is paid.
• Travel: You arrange your own daily travel to office. Travel on official tours is reimbursed under Society policy.
• Working week: A 48-hour week on normal office timings, working alongside the Society's regular officers.
• Holidays and leave: Society holidays apply, but you may be called in on a weekly off or holiday when work is urgent. You earn one day of casual leave for each completed month.
• Medical cover: You buy a mediclaim policy for yourself, your spouse and up to two dependent children below 18, and the Society reimburses the premium.
• Joining: You must join immediately if selected. On request you get at most 15 more days; missing that cancels the provisional selection.
• Serving government staff: If you work in a government office or undertaking, bring the original release letter from your employer when you join.
• No side work: You cannot take up any other assignment for the whole contract period.
• No travel allowance: I4IC pays no TA or DA for attending the personal interview.
