DNHDD Education Video Editor Recruitment 2026: Overview

The Directorate of Education, UT Administration of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu (DNHDD) is hiring Video Editors for its educational video work under the PM e-Vidya DTH Channel initiative of the Ministry of Education. You will work at the Visual Recording Studio, 1st Floor, Shiksha Sadan, Daman, where lessons are recorded and turned into finished programmes for the channel.

This is a contractual engagement, not a regular government post, and selection is through a walk-in interview. It suits editors who already cut videos in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro and want to move into educational media. Knowledge of AR/VR and AI tools, and hands-on work with graphics, subtitles and audio sync, gives you an edge.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract basis: The engagement is purely contractual and may be renewed only on the basis of your performance.
• No regularisation: The application form asks you to declare that the post is contractual and carries no right to regularisation in the future.
• Minimum marks: Every qualifying degree or diploma must carry at least 55% marks.
• Experience: You need at least one year of work in video editing, educational media, television production, digital content creation or a related field.
• Travel costs: No TA/DA is paid for attending the interview.
• False information: If any detail in your form is found false or suppressed, your candidature or engagement can be cancelled even after selection.

Application Submission Notes

There is no online form. Fill the prescribed application format attached to the notice, paste a self-attested passport-size photo, tick the documents you are enclosing, and hand in the hard copy at the interview.

Report at the Visual Recording Studio, 1st Floor, Shiksha Sadan, Moti Daman at 10:00 AM on the walk-in day. Carry your original certificates and bio-data along with copies of your qualification and experience documents.
