Who Can Apply?

• Medical specialties: PG Degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty is the minimum qualification. If PG candidates are not available in a specialty, candidates without PG qualification may be considered.
• Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology and Microbiology: MSc (Medical) in the concerned subject is also accepted.
• Dentistry: MDS in the concerned Dentistry specialty is required.
• Registration: Candidates must bring the applicable medical or dental registration documents at interview.

Age Limit

• Maximum age for PG and post-doctoral degree holders is 40 years.
• Relaxation for SC, ST, OBC and PwBD is as per Government of India norms.
• The original advertisement states that age, qualification and experience are determined as on the closing date of online application.

Salary

• PG Degree/Diploma medical qualification: Pay Matrix Level 11, Rs. 67,700-2,08,700.
• MBBS qualification only: Pay Matrix Level 10, Rs. 56,100-1,77,500.
• Non-medical qualification: Pay Matrix Level 7, Rs. 44,900-1,42,400.
• Allowances are payable as admissible under the applicable rules.

• SC/ST/PwBD/Women applicants: Rs. 250

Selection Process

• Handle clinical duties in the assigned department and attend to inpatients, outpatients and emergencies
• Teach and demonstrate procedures to MBBS undergraduate students during practical and clinical postings
• Assist consultants in surgeries, procedures, ward rounds and academic case discussions
• Maintain patient case records, departmental registers and submit periodic reports
• Participate in departmental research, publications and case presentations
• Work in rotating shifts including night duty and emergency call as per the duty roster
• Follow the standard treatment protocols and infection control guidelines of UCMS and GTB Hospital
• Take part in academic activities like seminars, journal clubs and CME programmes of the department
