RailTel Corporation of India Limited, a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, has issued notice number RCIL/2026/P&A/02/SR dated 05 June 2026. The recruitment is for L-I Engineer, L-II Engineer, and L-III Engineer roles on a contract basis for the KSITM project. Who Can Apply?

For L-I Engineer

• Qualification: You need Graduation or PG in Science or Engineering.
• Certification: You need any one of Security+, CEH, ECSA, or OEM certification.
• Experience: You need at least 1 year in monitoring and responding to cyber threats.

For L-II Engineer

• Qualification: You need Graduation or PG in Science or Engineering.
• Certification: You need any one of Security+, ECSA, GCFA, GCFE, CISSP, or OEM certification.
• Experience: You need at least 3 years in incident response.

For L-III Engineer

• Qualification: You need Graduation or PG in Science or Engineering.
• Certification: You need one cyber security certification such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA, and one project or incident management certification such as ITIL or PMP.
• Experience: You need 8 years in SOC, including 3 years as SOC Manager.

Important eligibility note: Your qualification must be from a recognised university, autonomous institute, or government-approved institution in India. Only experience gained after the minimum qualification will be counted.

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 24 years
• Maximum age: 50 years
• Maximum age after all relaxations: 55 years
• Age Relaxation: OBC gets 3 years, SC/ST gets 5 years, and PwBD gets 10 years, subject to valid certificate.
• Age reference date: Last date of application submission, which is 22 June 2026.

Salary

• L-I Engineer: Annual CTC of Rs. 4,20,000 with 3% annual increment
• L-II Engineer: Annual CTC of Rs. 5,58,000 with 3% annual increment
• L-III Engineer: Annual CTC of Rs. 18,00,000 with 3% annual increment
• CTC note: The notified CTC is inclusive of gratuity.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

The RailTel selection process has two main stages after application screening:

1. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. Call letters will be sent by email.
2. Medical Examination: Final engagement will depend on being found medically fit by the medical authority designated by RailTel.

• Support malware analysis, digital forensics, and incident response activities where applicable
• Coordinate with RailTel and project teams during high-priority security events
