Odisha State Warehousing Corporation (OSWC), a state public sector undertaking under the Cooperation Department, Government of Odisha, has released Advertisement No. 2096/OSWC dated 13 May 2026 for regular Group-C and Group-D posts. The recruitment covers warehouse operations, office support, stock handling and computer-based work in OSWC locations across Odisha. The selection has a Computer Based Test followed by document verification, so you should prepare for both general aptitude and post-specific subjects.

Who Can Apply?

Assistant Superintendent

• Management route: MBA in Personnel Management, HRM, Industrial Relations, Supply Chain Management, Marketing Management or Finance Management, OR BBA from a recognised university/institution with at least 60% marks.
• Science/Agriculture route: B.Sc. in Agriculture, Botany (Hons.), Zoology (Hons.) or Chemistry (Hons.) from a recognised university with at least 60% marks.
• Computer requirement: You should be proficient in Excel, Word and internet use.

Warehouse Assistant

• Qualification: You need any graduation degree from a recognised university.
• Computer requirement: You must have computer knowledge.
• Ex-Servicemen rule: For Warehouse Assistant, ex-servicemen with at least three years of Armed Forces service get educational qualification exemption as per Odisha rules.

Odia Language Requirement

• You must be able to read, write and speak Odia.
• You should have studied Odia in Middle School, HSC/Class 10, Class VII final exam, or passed the Odia language test conducted by the Government of Odisha.

Age Limit

• You should be between 21 and 42 years old as on 1 April 2026.
• Your date of birth should not be earlier than 2 April 1984 and not later than 1 April 2005.
• SEBC/SC/ST/Women: upper age limit relaxed by 5 years.
• PwD: upper age limit relaxed by 10 years; PwD candidates from ST/SC/SEBC categories can get cumulative relaxation up to 15 years.
• Ex-Servicemen: age benefit for Warehouse Assistant is as per Odisha Ex-Servicemen recruitment rules.

Salary

• Assistant Superintendent: Pay Band Rs. 5,200 to Rs. 20,200, Level-4, Cell-1, Grade Pay Rs. 1,900.
• Warehouse Assistant: Pay Band Rs. 4,750 to Rs. 14,680, Level-2, Cell-1, Grade Pay Rs. 1,775.
• Selected employees will also get Dearness Allowance and other admissible allowances/perks as per OSWC rules.

Application Fee

• UR / SEBC / Ex-Servicemen / Departmental candidates: Rs. 850 total (Rs. 500 application fee + Rs. 350 intimation charge).
• ST / SC / PwD candidates: Rs. 350 intimation charge only.
• Payment is through online mode only. DD, cheque and postal order are not accepted.
• Online transaction charges, if any, must be paid by the applicant.

Selection Process

The OSWC selection process has two main stages:

1. Computer Based Test (CBT): Objective-type online exam. The Assistant Superintendent paper has 200 questions for 200 marks in 2 hours 30 minutes. The Warehouse Assistant paper has 150 questions for 150 marks in 2 hours.
2. Document Verification: Candidates shortlisted from the CBT will be called with original certificates and self-attested copies.

Negative marking applies: one-fourth of the marks assigned to a question will be deducted for each wrong answer. The CBT is tentatively planned for July 2026 at Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Berhampur and Sambalpur.
