Janakpuri Super Speciality Hospital (JSSHS), an autonomous hospital under the Government of NCT of Delhi, has issued Recruitment Notice No. F.9(280)/JSSH/Estt./Recruitment/2026 for medical faculty and Specialist Grade III posts. Who Can Apply?

Common Medical Requirement

• Medical qualification: You need a recognised MBBS qualification included in the Indian Medical Council Act schedule, as applicable.
• Specialty qualification: You need the required MD, DM, M.Ch, DNB, DrNB or equivalent qualification for the specialty and post level.
• Registration: You must have a valid Delhi Medical Council registration certificate.

Faculty Posts

• Professor: Super-specialty qualification with senior teaching experience. The attached rules mention 4 years as Associate Professor or 6 years as Assistant Professor for several super-specialty posts, and 9 years teaching experience for some MD specialty posts.
• Associate Professor: Relevant postgraduate or super-specialty qualification with teaching experience, including 2 years as Assistant Professor where specified.
• Assistant Professor: Relevant postgraduate or super-specialty qualification. Some specialties require 3 years teaching experience after the qualifying MD degree.

Specialist Grade III Posts

• Cardiology / Neurology: MD in Medicine or Pediatrics plus DM in the concerned specialty, or equivalent recognised qualification.
• CTVS / Neurosurgery: MS in General Surgery plus M.Ch or DNB in the concerned specialty, or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Nuclear Medicine / Radiology / Medical Oncology: Postgraduate qualification in the concerned specialty, such as MD, DNB or DM, as listed in the rules.

Age Limit

• Professor: Up to 60 years as per the attached recruitment rules.
• Associate Professor: Up to 55 years where shown in the attached rules.
• Assistant Professor and Specialist Grade III: Up to 45 years for the listed posts.
• Age reference date: Age, qualification and experience will be counted as on 17 June 2026, the last date for receipt of application.
• Relaxation: Age relaxation will be as per Government of India rules for eligible categories.

Salary

• Professor: Rs. 3,05,000 per month consolidated, inclusive of all allowances.
• Associate Professor: Rs. 2,55,000 per month consolidated, inclusive of all allowances.
• Assistant Professor: Rs. 1,95,000 per month consolidated, inclusive of all allowances.
• Specialist Grade III: Pay Level 11 with starting pay of Rs. 67,700 per month plus admissible allowances, as approved by JSSHS.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

JSSHS will select candidates through an interview. The notice does not mention any written exam for these ad-hoc posts.

1. Application Scrutiny: JSSHS will check the offline application, fee receipt and self-attested certificates.
2. Interview: A selection committee constituted by the competent authority will conduct the interview.
3. Document Verification: You must produce original documents with attested photocopies and one passport size photo at interview.
