Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) is a Maharatna PSU under the Department of Defence Production. The Avionics Division at Hyderabad has invited applications for engagement of 205 ITI Trade Apprentices for a one-year apprenticeship training programme under the Apprentices Act 1961. The walk-in covers 15 different trades with the largest vacancies in Electronics Mechanic (60), Fitter (60), and COPA (40). Reservations: EWS, OBC, SC, ST, PH candidates and Ex-Servicemen as per the Apprentices Act 1961 and Subsequent Amendments. Wards of HAL employees also get reservation as per HAL Corporate Office Guidelines.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have passed ITI in the respective trade recognised by NCVT
• You must register on www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in and bring the registration copy to the walk-in
• You should NOT have undergone or be undergoing apprenticeship training in the same trade elsewhere
• Candidates who passed apprenticeship under Centre of Excellence (COE) scheme are not eligible
• Candidates who have joined or about to join any regular course for higher education during the training period need not apply
• OBC candidates need a Valid Non-Creamy Layer certificate

Stipend

• Stipend will be paid monthly as per the Apprentices Act 1961 & Rules and Subsequent Amendments
• Specific stipend amount not mentioned in the notification (typically based on the Apprentices Act norms)

Application Fee

• Candidates must arrange their own travel and accommodation for the walk-in

Selection Process (No Written Test or Interview)

Selection is purely based on academic marks:

1. SSC / 10th Marks: 70% weightage
2. ITI Marks: 30% weightage

There will be no written test or interview. The merit list of selected candidates will be hosted on hal-india.co.in on 26 June 2026, and confirmation emails will be sent to shortlisted candidates.

How to Apply

1. Register on the apprenticeship portal at apprenticeshipindia.gov.in with your name as on your SSC / 10th certificate.
2. Enter ITI Certificate number, Aadhaar number, DOB, Category, Council and Trade details.
3. Upload SSC marks certificate, ITI marks certificate (all semesters), Aadhaar, photograph, signature and complete KYC verification.
4. Take a printout of the apprentice registration copy from the portal.
5. Attend the walk-in at Utsav Sadan Auditorium, Behind Department of Training & Development, HAL Avionics Division, Balanagar, Hyderabad - 500042 on your scheduled date and time (see Important Dates below).
6. Carry original certificates (Aadhaar, SSC/10th, ITI marks sheet of all semesters, birth certificate if DOB not on SSC, caste/community certificate if applicable) plus photocopies and 2 passport-size photos.
7. Selected candidates must join by 17 July 2026.

• Undergo one-year hands-on apprenticeship training in your assigned trade at HAL Avionics Division, Hyderabad
• Follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures on the shop floor
• Assist regular technicians in production, assembly, testing and maintenance activities
• Maintain a daily training log and submit periodic progress reports
• Attend technical classes and skill development sessions arranged by the Training Department
• Operate tools, machines and equipment under supervision as per trade requirement
• Complete all assessments and demonstrations as per the Apprentices Act 1961
