GIMS Paramedical Tutor Recruitment 2026 — 10 Posts

Government Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS), Greater Noida — an autonomous institute under the Government of Uttar Pradesh — has invited online applications for 10 Tutor posts in three paramedical specialties at its College of Allied & Health Sciences. The posts are on a contractual basis for a maximum period of 89 days, or until a regular appointment is made, whichever is earlier. This is a great opportunity for B.Sc. graduates in allied health sciences who want to gain teaching experience in a government medical college.

Vacancy Breakdown by Specialty

• B.Sc. in Radio Diagnosis and Imaging Technology: 4 posts
• B.Sc. in Medical Lab Technology: 3 posts
• B.Sc. in Operation Theater Technology: 3 posts

Total: 10 posts. Reservation will be as per UP Government rules, applicable only for candidates with a domicile certificate of Uttar Pradesh.

Who Can Apply?

• For Medical Lab Technology (3 posts): B.Sc. in Medical Lab Technology from a recognized institution
• For Radio Diagnosis and Imaging Technology (4 posts): B.Sc. in Radio Diagnosis and Imaging Technology from a recognized institution
• For Operation Theater Technology (3 posts): B.Sc. in Operation Theater Technology from a recognized institution

Note: Educational qualifications will be accepted only from institutions recognized by the Government or UPSMF.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 40 years for all posts
• Age relaxation will be as per UP Government rules for reserved category candidates who hold a domicile certificate of Uttar Pradesh

Salary / Honorarium

• Monthly honorarium: Rs. 45,000 for all Tutor posts
• This is a contractual appointment — no travelling allowance (TA) is payable for attending the interview or screening test

Selection Process

Selection will be done in up to 2 stages:

1. Screening Test: A written screening test will be conducted if a large number of applications are received
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. Date and venue will be communicated in advance

Note: The number of posts is provisional and may change. Selection may not be held for all advertised posts. The Director reserves the right to reject any application without giving reasons.

• Guide students in clinical procedures and lab techniques relevant to the specialty
• Maintain proper records of student attendance, assessments, and practical logs
• Follow institute rules, attend faculty meetings, and participate in departmental activities
