Support, Counselling and Activity Posts

• Chowkidar / Housekeeping: You must have passed SSC or equivalent from a recognised board.
• Counsellor / Social Worker / Psychologist: You need a graduate degree in Social Sciences, preferably Social Work or Psychology, with 1-2 years of field experience.
• Yoga / Dance / Music / Art Teacher: You need at least 3 years of experience in the relevant discipline.
• Peer Educator: You should be literate, an ex-drug user with 1-2 years of sobriety, good communication skills, and willingness to work with drug-using populations.
• Local Status: Study certificates from Class IV to X or residence proof are needed for local status.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 42 years as on 01 July 2026.
• SC / ST / BC / EWS: 5 years relaxation.
• Ex-servicemen: 3 years plus length of armed forces service.
• Differently abled candidates: 10 years relaxation.
• Maximum age with all relaxations together is 52 years.

Salary

• Doctor / Psychiatrist: Rs. 60,000 per month.
• Project Coordinator cum Vocational Counsellor: Rs. 25,000 per month.
• Counsellor / Social Worker / Psychologist: Rs. 17,500 per month.
• Peer Educator: Rs. 10,000 per month.
• Chowkidar and Housekeeping Staff: Rs. 9,000 per month.
• Yoga / Dance / Music / Art Teacher: Rs. 5,000 per month for the part-time role.
• The appointment is initially for one year and may be extended as per government instructions.

Application Fee

• OC candidates: Rs. 500.
• SC / ST / BC / Physically Challenged candidates: Rs. 300.
• Payment mode: Demand Draft or Banker Cheque in favour of Convenor, HDS, GGH, Kadapa.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is based on 100 marks. There is no written exam mentioned in the notification.

1. Qualifying Examination Marks - 90 marks: Marks from all years of the required qualification will be converted into weightage.
2. Waiting Period Weightage - up to 10 marks: You get 1 mark per completed year after acquiring the required qualification, up to 10 marks.
3. Document Verification: Your certificates, local status, registration, caste, disability, ex-servicemen proof and fee details will be checked.
4. Final Merit List: The merit list remains valid until 30 June 2027 for arising vacancies if the department needs them.
