About This Job

Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) is hiring 1 full-time Advisor (Land and Revenue) on contract. This role is for superannuated PSU, Central Government or State Government officials with 15 years of land-related experience. You need to be Graduate and above, with strong knowledge of land laws, acquisition, possession and rehabilitation work. The last date for CCL to receive the offline application is 15 June 2026 by 5:00 PM, and the monthly honorarium ranges from Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 1,20,000.

Central Coalfields Limited Advisor Land and Revenue Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

Central Coalfields Limited (CCL), a subsidiary of Coal India Limited, has notified one Advisor post for the Land and Revenue area. The engagement is initially for one year and may be extended for another year based on requirement and satisfactory performance. VRS optees will not be considered, so this opportunity is mainly for superannuated government or PSU officials.

The appointment location can be CCL headquarters, field location or strategic location as per the company's requirement. The notice is very specific about land work, so general retired officers without land acquisition, possession, R&R or allied experience should not treat this as a general advisor opening.

Who Can Apply?

The role needs practical land administration experience. CCL expects the Advisor to handle land acquisition issues, liaison with state officials and villagers, rehabilitation and resettlement activities, legal advice and old land document tracing.

Age Limit

  • Maximum age limit: Not more than 65 years during the contract period.
  • The notice asks for proof of age, such as Matriculation certificate, with the application.

Salary

  • Retired E8 Grade Executive: Rs. 1,20,000 per month
  • Retired E7 Grade Executive: Rs. 1,00,000 per month
  • Retired E6 Grade Executive: Rs. 90,000 per month
  • Retired E5 Grade Executive: Rs. 80,000 per month
  • Retired E4 Grade Executive: Rs. 70,000 per month
  • Retired E3 Grade Executive: Rs. 60,000 per month
  • Retired E2 Grade Executive: Rs. 50,000 per month
  • Other Benefits: Conveyance as per availability or applicable conveyance charge, mobile reimbursement up to Rs. 1,000 per month, TA/DA for official tours, medical benefits, accommodation/HRA as per rules and paid leave of 15 days every six months.

The honorarium depends on the retired executive grade. If company accommodation is not available, HRA is handled as per applicable CIL rules for city class, and medical coverage is linked to the post-retirement medical benefit rules stated in the notice.

Selection Process

CCL will shortlist applicants who meet the eligibility conditions and call them for interview. The final selection is based on a composite score using technical and financial evaluation.

  1. Shortlisting: Applications are checked against qualification, experience and other notification conditions.
  2. Technical Evaluation: This includes experience, performance in the last 3 years before superannuation and interview performance.
  3. Financial Evaluation: CCL considers the compensation or honorarium payable to the applicant as per the notification table.
  4. Interview: You must get at least 50% marks in the interview to qualify for selection.
  5. Medical Fitness: Engagement is subject to medical fitness certified by the Company Medical Officer.

No TA will be paid for appearing in the interview or selection process. The notice also says the Advisor must maintain secrecy and cannot accept any other full-time or part-time appointment during the engagement period.

CCL will reject incomplete or late applications. The company also says it will not be responsible for postal delay, so send the form early enough for it to reach Ranchi before 5:00 PM on 15 June 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Qualification

Graduate and above; superannuated PSU/Central/State Government official with land-related work knowledge and 15 years of experience in land acquisition, land possession, rehabilitation and resettlement or allied work

Preferred Qualification

Experience in land-related laws, Acts, guidelines and CCL/coal sector land matters will be relevant to the role

Required Skills

Land acquisition, land authentication, rehabilitation and resettlement, liaison with state officials and villagers, legal and procedural land advice

Age Limit

18 - 65 years

Salary & Compensation

Pay Scale

Monthly honorarium by retired grade: E2 Rs. 50,000; E3 Rs. 60,000; E4 Rs. 70,000; E5 Rs. 80,000; E6 Rs. 90,000; E7 Rs. 1,00,000; E8 Rs. 1,20,000

Allowances

Conveyance as per availability or conveyance charge, mobile reimbursement up to Rs. 1,000 per month, TA/DA for official tours, medical coverage, accommodation/HRA as per CIL rules and 15 days paid leave every six months.
