The Office of the District Program Officer (Bal Vikas), Balrampur, has released notification number Ji.Ka.Adhi/Aa.Va.Stha/Niyukti/2026.27 dated 07 May 2026 to fill 40 vacant posts of Anganwadi Worker under the Bal Vikas Pariyojna Utraula in the urban area. Only women candidates are eligible to apply. The selection follows a priority order — preference is first given to widows below poverty line, then to divorced or abandoned women, and so on. - Age will be reckoned as on 01 January 2026 (cut-off date)
- The date of birth recorded in the High School (10th) certificate will be considered final
Salary
- Anganwadi Workers receive an honorarium (maandeya) as fixed by the Uttar Pradesh Government from time to time
- The honorarium for UP Anganwadi Workers is currently around Rs. 5,500 to Rs. 8,000 per month (state government revised rates)

Responsibilities
- Run the Anganwadi centre in the assigned urban ward of Utraula, Balrampur
- Provide supplementary nutrition to children (6 months to 6 years), pregnant women, and lactating mothers
- Conduct pre-school education and informal learning activities for children aged 3 to 6 years
- Monitor growth and health of children, and identify cases of malnutrition
- Maintain records of beneficiaries, attendance, nutrition supplies, and health check-up data
- Coordinate with ANM, ASHA workers, and the local Primary Health Centre for immunisation and health camps
- Spread awareness on nutrition, hygiene, family planning, and government welfare schemes in the community
- Assist the supervisor and Bal Vikas Pariyojna Adhikari in surveys and reporting
