The Ahmadabad World Heritage City Trust (AWHCT) — set up by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) — manages the conservation and promotion of Ahmedabad, India's first UNESCO World Heritage City. Who Can Apply?

Assistant Director (Rs. 80,000)

• Bachelor's in Architecture with 10 years experience registered with Council of Architecture (CoA), OR B.Arch + Master's in Management/Public Administration/Heritage Management with 4 years experience.

Conservation Architects (Rs. 65,000)

• M.Arch (Conservation) with minimum 2 years experience in architectural heritage conservation.

Assistant Architects (Rs. 45,000)

• B.Arch with minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience.

Historian / Social Science Expert (Rs. 50,000)

• Master's in History/Archaeology/Anthropology/Sociology/Heritage Management/Cultural Studies with 5 years experience in stakeholder consultation, public outreach, research and documentation.
• Fluency in Gujarati, Hindi and English is highly desirable.

G.I.S. Expert (Rs. 45,000)

• Master's or Bachelor's in Geography, Geoinformatics, Urban Planning or related fields with 3 years experience in GIS mapping and spatial analysis.

Administrative Coordinator / Office Superintendent (Rs. 50,000)

• Bachelor's in Public/Business Administration/Management/Commerce/Urban or Heritage Management with minimum 5 years experience in administrative coordination, OR a retired AMC employee from the post of Office Superintendent or above.

Draft Person (Rs. 35,000)

• ITI / Diploma / Higher degree in Draftsmanship, Architecture or Civil Engineering from a recognised institute with at least 3 years experience in drafting and technical documentation.

Senior Executive - Tourism Cell (Rs. 65,000)

• Master's in Tourism/Business Management/Urban Planning or related fields with tourism/heritage focus and 5+ years experience.

Manager - Creative Communication & Branding (Rs. 50,000)

• Master's in Mass Communication/Visual Communication/Design/Journalism with tourism/heritage focus and 4+ years experience in branding or tourism promotion.

Asst. Manager - Tourism Planning & Community Programmes (Rs. 35,000)

• Master's in Social Work/Heritage Management/Development Studies/Economics with tourism/heritage focus and 2+ years experience.

Asst. Manager - Visitor Experience & Operations (Rs. 35,000)

• Bachelor's or Master's in Tourism Management/Event Management/Hospitality/Business Administration with 2+ years experience.

Asst. Manager - Tourism Data & Digital Platforms (Rs. 30,000)

• Master's in IT/Computer Science/Data Science or related fields with 2+ years experience in data analytics or digital platform management.

Restoration Engineer (Rs. 65,000 - Offline)

• Retired Assistant Civil Engineer or above from AMC Engineering Department.

Restoration Supervisor (Rs. 30,000 - Offline)

• Retired Technical Supervisor or above from AMC Engineering Department.

Age Limit

• Historian, Assistant Architects, GIS Expert, Administrative Coordinator, Draft Person, Manager (Creative Comm), Asst. Managers: Minimum 25 years and Maximum 35 to 40 years
• Assistant Director: Minimum 35 years and Maximum 45 years
• Conservation Architects: Minimum 27 years and Maximum 37 years
• Senior Executive - Tourism Cell: Minimum 28 years and Maximum 40 years
• Restoration Engineer and Restoration Supervisor: Open to retired AMC employees only

Salary

• Monthly contract salary ranges from Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 80,000 depending on the post
• Top pay of Rs. 80,000 for Assistant Director

• Assistant Architects and GIS Expert get Rs. 45,000
• Draft Person and most Asst. Managers get Rs. 35,000
