Responsibilities
- Maintain law and order across Andaman & Nicobar Islands
- Carry out assigned policing, fire-fighting, transport, marine, or radio communication duties as per branch
- Follow standing orders, recruitment rules, and chain of command
- Operate department equipment, vehicles, vessels, or radio sets safely
- Assist senior officers and respond to public emergencies
- Support investigation, patrolling, and security operations
- Maintain physical fitness and uniform discipline at all times
- Serve at any unit or island within A&N Police as posted

Pay Scale

Exam Pattern
You will appear for a Written Examination conducted by Andaman & Nicobar Police. The exam can be either tab/computer based or sheet based. Question papers will be available in English and/or Hindi only. Detailed exam pattern, syllabus, total questions, marks, and time will be specified in the complete Recruitment Notice on police.andamannicobar.gov.in. The Physical Measurement and Endurance Test (PM&ET) is qualifying only; final selection is based on Written Exam plus Trade Test (where applicable).
