Responsibilities

  • Maintain law and order, patrol assigned areas, and support public safety duties in executive police posts
  • Operate radio, VHF, and communication equipment for field coordination and emergency response
  • Drive police, transport, and fire service vehicles while following route, safety, and readiness protocols
  • Handle marine patrol or engine-room support work in police marine force posts with the required certificates
  • Carry out workshop, electrical, diesel, and vehicle maintenance tasks in technical and transport units
  • Support fire response, rescue preparation, and station duties in Fire and Emergency Services posts
  • Manage stores, records, messenger work, sanitation support, and unit housekeeping in assigned support roles

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Qualification

10th pass, 12th pass, graduate, diploma, engineering, ITI, or marine competency certificate depending on the post applied for

Preferred Qualification

Valid LMV or heavy vehicle driving licence, trade certificate, marine certificate, Hindi or computer knowledge, and post-specific practical experience where notified

Required Skills

Physical fitness, driving ability for many posts, trade or technical skills for workshop posts, and post-specific subject knowledge for radio, marine, fire, and transport roles

Age Relaxation:

  • ST: Up to 5 years
  • OBC: Up to 3 years
