THSTI Research Multi-Post Recruitment 2026: Overview

BRIC-Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (BRIC-THSTI) is hiring for research projects on metabolic syndrome and diabetes in Faridabad. The notice brings together Research Associate-I and Project Associate-I/II roles linked to different research teams. These are short-term project appointments, with work ranging from animal experiments to the analysis of chemicals associated with diabetes.

Posts and Disciplines

• Research Associate-I: Join Dr. Suchitra Devi Gopinath's project on how maternal activity relates to the developmental origins of metabolic syndrome. The Indo-French Centre for the Promotion of Advanced Research (CEFIPRA) funds this study.
• Project Associate-I/II: Join Dr. Yashwant Kumar's study of environmental chemical risk factors for type 2 diabetes. The project follows a cohort over 24 years and includes targeted and untargeted metabolomics, which examine chemical patterns in biological samples.

Post-wise Duties

Research Associate-I

You will plan and run in vivo experiments, including handling, treating and taking samples from small laboratory animals. The work also uses molecular and cellular methods such as quantitative PCR, Western blotting, cloning, mammalian cell culture, flow cytometry and microscopy.

You will analyse experimental datasets and help turn the findings into research manuscripts. This role connects practical laboratory work with the interpretation and reporting of results.

Project Associate-I/II

Your work centres on metabolomics and liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LC-MS). The project calls for work with the instruments, development of methods, collection of instrument data and advanced analysis of metabolomics results.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project appointment: An extension depends on your performance and the remaining project tenure. Appointment does not give you a right to regular employment at the institute.

Application Submission Notes

For the walk-in, report at 9:00 am to THSTI, NCR Biotech Science Cluster, 3rd Milestone, Faridabad-Gurugram Expressway, Faridabad – 121001. The institute will not admit you after the stated reporting time.
