National Dope Testing Laboratory (NDTL) is recruiting Research Associate I staff for contract research appointments in New Delhi. The laboratory works on human sports dope testing and related research, with accreditation from the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). You would join a scientific setting focused on dope science, with research links to institutions in India and abroad.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Initial engagement: The contract starts with a one-year term. You should plan around this fixed period when considering the appointment.
• Extension: NDTL may extend the engagement by up to two further years. An extension depends on satisfactory performance and conduct; it is not automatic.
• Review: Your performance will be assessed each year. The laboratory can also shorten the engagement based on its assessment of your performance or conduct.
• Unsatisfactory performance: NDTL can end the contract by giving one month of notice or paying one month of salary instead. This condition applies during the contract term.
• Leaving the engagement: Either you or the laboratory can end the contract by giving one month of advance notice. Consider this notice requirement alongside your existing work commitments.
• Travel expenses: You will need to meet your own costs for attending the interview. NDTL will not pay travel or daily allowances for attending.
• Application decisions: The competent authority can reject any or all applications without giving reasons or separate notice. The Director and CEO in charge has the final say on selection, and that decision is binding.
