Senior Research Fellow

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: The engagement is for six months and depends on the continuation of the chickpea network project. It may end earlier if the project closes or the appointment is terminated.
• Full-time commitment: You must work for the project throughout the engagement and cannot accept another appointment or assignment during that period.
• Work setting: Duties cover the field, laboratory and office at the Pulses Improvement Project, Rahuri, according to the project's needs.
• Completion undertaking: You must agree to finish the assigned work within the prescribed period and not leave midway. The selected person must execute a bond on Rs. 100 stamp paper under university rules.
• No permanent appointment claim: This contract does not give you a right to permanent university employment. The committee may also decide not to fill the advertised posts.
• Travel costs: You must meet your own expenses for attending the interview at Rahuri.
