SCI Senior Personal Assistant Recruitment 2026: Overview

Supreme Court of India (SCI) is recruiting Senior Personal Assistants for its Registry through direct recruitment. The exercise will prepare a panel for Group B non-gazetted appointments. A key working condition is your willingness to serve outside normal office hours, including holidays.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Panel and vacancy changes: The vacancy position is tentative. The Registry can revise it to meet administrative needs and can change, restrict or cancel the recruitment exercise with the competent authority’s approval.
• Working hours: If appointed, you must give an undertaking that you will work at odd hours and on holidays when needed. Consider this condition before deciding whether the role suits you.
• Application corrections: You cannot withdraw or modify a form after submission. The Registry will not accept a later request to change the category entered in your form.
• Multiple forms: If you apply more than once, only the last submitted form will be considered. You cannot ask the Registry to use an earlier version instead.
• Test centres: You can rank the available cities by preference, but the Registry can move you to another city for administrative reasons. Requests to change the allocated centre or test schedule will not be accepted.
• Attendance arrangements: Shorthand and typing tests will take place in Delhi/NCR. The interview may be online or held in person in Delhi, depending on the competent authority’s decision.
• Travel expenses: You will not receive travel or daily allowances for attending the tests or interview. Plan your travel around the official call information.
• Recruitment updates: Keep your personal email and mobile number active. The Registry will publish updates on its website and may also send information by email or SMS; admit cards will not arrive by post.
• Employment changes: If you take up employment after applying, tell the Recruitment Cell promptly at recruitment.cell@sci.nic.in. This applies during the examination process and after it finishes.
• Provisional admission: Admission to a test does not confirm your entitlement to appointment. False details, fabricated records or attempts to influence the process can lead to cancellation and further action, including after joining.
• Reservation: SC, ST and OBC non-creamy-layer reservation follows Rule 4A of the Supreme Court Officers and Servants rules. Use the category that your supporting records establish.
