PAU Tractor Operator Recruitment 2026

PAU Tractor Operator Recruitment 2026: Overview

Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) is hiring a Tractor Operator on contract for Raja Harinder Singh Seed Farm at Bir Sikhan Wala, Faridkot. The engagement comes under the scheme “Facilitating effective functioning at PAU, Misc. 8 (PC-4715)”. Your application goes to the farm office named in the notice, so the university's Ludhiana address should not be treated as the posting place.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract basis: The notice describes this as a contractual engagement under the named scheme. It does not give a contract end date or promise conversion to a regular university post.
• Reservation: The notice states reservation of 25% for Scheduled Caste/Tribe candidates and 12% for backward-class candidates belonging to Punjab. It also states 13% for ex-servicemen and 3% for persons with disabilities; these are reservation-policy percentages, not a post-wise vacancy split.
• Travel: You will need to meet your own travel and daily expenses when attending the recruitment process. The university will not pay TA/DA.
• Further communication: PAU says to check its official website regularly for the next recruitment arrangements. The notice does not provide a fixed schedule for those later activities.

Application Submission Notes

Address your plain-paper application to the Director, Raja Harinder Singh Seed Farm, Bir Sikhan Wala, Faridkot. The memo is issued by this farm office, and it asks for applications to reach that office.

Clearly include the post name, advertisement reference and date, and your mobile number in the application. Check that these details are easy to read so the office can identify the recruitment and contact you.

Incomplete and late applications will not be considered. The notice calls for a paper application; its online vacancy page is the source of recruitment information, not an online application form.
