ICAR-National Bureau of Soil Survey and Land Use Planning (ICAR-NBSS&LUP) is recruiting Young Professionals for its Division of Soil Resource Studies in Nagpur. • Young Professional-II: This role belongs to the soil and crop health project at the Nagpur division. The notice links the position to field, laboratory and analytical work within the same research programme.
• Young Professional-I: This role also supports the soil resource study at Nagpur. The notice describes the same broad work areas for both professional levels, rather than separate projects or different posting centres.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Regular appointment: This project engagement gives you no claim to a regular appointment at ICAR-NBSS&LUP. Keep this condition in mind when considering the role.
• Field travel: Nagpur is the stated posting location, but soil sampling can take you to field sites across India. The work therefore includes activity away from the institute as well as laboratory-based assignments.
