IIT Kharagpur Project Associate I Neuroscience 2026

IIT Kharagpur Project Associate I Recruitment 2026: Overview

Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT Kharagpur) is hiring a Project Associate-I for a time-bound research assignment in its Department of Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering. The project studies predictive sequences in mouse ultrasonic vocalizations and altered learning from prediction errors in mouse models of autism spectrum disorders. It is supported by the Department of Biotechnology, New Delhi, with Sharba Bandyopadhyay named as the project coordinator.

The project brings a neuroscience research topic into an engineering department at Kharagpur. Its focus is the relationship between vocalization sequences, prediction errors and altered learning in mouse models. If you are considering this opening, the project topic gives you a clearer picture of the research setting than the general Project Associate title alone.
