IIT Delhi Student Counsellor Recruitment 2026: Overview

Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) is engaging Consultants (Student Counsellor) for its Counselling Services at Hauz Khas, New Delhi. The work brings together student counselling, workshops for staff and students, and awareness campaigns. This is a contract engagement, with a preference for someone who can join immediately.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Initial tenure: Your contract starts with one year. IIT Delhi may extend it for up to two more years if the service is needed and your work is satisfactory.
• No permanent appointment: Attending the interview or being selected does not give you a claim to a regular institute post. The engagement remains temporary.
• Joining preference: The institute prefers an immediate joiner, so your availability matters alongside the conditions in the notice.
• Recruitment changes: IIT Delhi may change the number of openings, postpone the process or cancel it. The notice allows these changes for individual positions or the recruitment as a whole.
• Accuracy of information: False or incorrect information can lead to cancellation of your candidature or appointment, even if it is found later.
