ACTREC Junior Research Fellow Recruitment 2026: Overview

Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC), part of Tata Memorial Centre, is recruiting a Junior Research Fellow for Patwardhan Lab, CRI, at Kharghar in Navi Mumbai. This is a contractual appointment for a time-bound breast-cancer research project. ACTREC is a grant-in-aid institution under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India.

The project studies exosome-mediated metabolic reprogramming and bioenergetics in breast cancer cells in response to stiffening of the extracellular matrix (ECM). Its focus connects changes in the cells’ surroundings with changes in their metabolism and energy processes. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project period: The notice gives the project a tenure of 3 years. The fellowship is a temporary project engagement on a contractual basis.
