Tripura Employees’ State Insurance Society (TESIS) is recruiting medical, nursing, pharmacy, laboratory and accounts staff for its Employees’ State Insurance dispensaries. These are contract appointments under a shared Expression of Interest, and you may be assigned to any dispensary run by the society.

Posts and Disciplines

• Insurance Medical Officer: The allopathic medical post is part of the society's dispensary staffing.
• Pharmacist: This post is in the allopathic pharmacy discipline within the same dispensary network.
• Auxiliary Nurse Midwife: The nursing post appears alongside the medical and pharmacy positions in this recruitment.
• Accountant: This is the accounts-side position in the society's dispensary recruitment.
• Laboratory Technician: This post belongs to the medical laboratory discipline within the ESI dispensaries.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Residence: You must be an Indian citizen and a permanent resident of Tripura. The notice applies this residence condition across the advertised roles.
• Initial tenure: Your appointment runs for one year from joining. An extension depends on satisfactory performance and the society's staffing needs, so continued service is not automatic.
• Employment status: These appointments are temporary contracts. You cannot claim regularisation in the society on the basis of this engagement.
• Posting: You may work at any ESI dispensary under the society. The notice does not promise an appointment at a particular town or dispensary.
• Leave: You earn one paid casual leave day for each completed month, giving 12 days for a full year. Women employees can receive 180 days of paid maternity leave on two occasions.
• Resignation: You must give the appointing authority three months' advance notice if you wish to leave. Consider this condition when planning a move from the contract.
• Service rules: The society's rules issued during your tenure govern the engagement. It may end your service if your work is unsatisfactory or harms the smooth functioning of the dispensary.
• Joining travel: The society does not provide travel or daily allowances for joining. You will need to make your own joining arrangements.
• Future panel: A panel will be retained for future recruitment. The society may also increase or reduce its staffing requirement.
