या नोकरीविषयी

Apply for Teaching Assistant posts in RGU. Relevant PG and BEd required. Pay up to Rs 40,000/month. Walk-in: 9 Oct 2026. Details at rgu.ac.in.

RGU Teaching Assistant Recruitment 2026: Overview

Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) is engaging Teaching Assistants in Geography and English for its Department of Education at Rono Hills, Doimukh, Arunachal Pradesh. The posts support teaching in the BA BEd Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) through a temporary, semester-based engagement.

This notice brings the subject teaching appointments together under the Department of Education. If you are considering the opportunity, the key context is the integrated teacher-education programme: both subjects belong to this advertised teaching arrangement at RGU.

Posts and Disciplines

  • Teaching Assistant, Geography: The Geography role supports subject teaching for the BA BEd programme in the Department of Education.
  • Teaching Assistant, English: The English role supports the same programme through its English subject teaching. Both roles are covered by this single university notice.

Service Conditions and Caveats

  • Temporary engagement: The appointment is for one semester. RGU may extend your service if the university needs it. An extension is conditional on that need, so you should consider the initial semester as the stated period of engagement.
  • Travel arrangements: The university will not pay travelling or daily allowance for attending the interview. You will need to make your own arrangements for the visit to RGU.
  • Unexpected disruption: If a natural calamity, bandh or another unforeseen circumstance affects the interview day, the university says it will hold the interview on the next working day.

Application Submission Notes

The walk-in venue is the chamber of the Head, Department of Education, RGU, Rono Hills, Doimukh. The notice gives 10:30 am onwards as the interview time for both subjects. You should attend the departmental venue for this walk-in engagement.
