NFSU Research Assistant Recruitment 2026: Overview
National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) is engaging a Research Assistant for an Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) funded project at its Gandhinagar campus in Gujarat. The work sits within the School of Behavioural Forensics and is a short contractual research engagement.
The project examines psycho-social factors and the development of anti-social cognition in adolescents. Its stated framework is the Triadic Reciprocal Deterministic Approach, which identifies the particular study attached to this opening. Use this project context when considering whether the opportunity matches your research interests.
ICSSR, under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, funds the study. The notification links the appointment to this specific project and school, so the project identity matters when you look through the university’s other recruitment notices.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Limited engagement: The appointment can last for a maximum of 4 months. Plan around the short period stated for this project. The notice gives a maximum duration rather than a promise of a longer appointment.
- Travel expenses: You will not receive travelling or daily allowance for attending the interview. Take this condition into account when making your travel arrangements to Gandhinagar.
Application Submission Notes
The walk-in venue is the 1st Floor of the SBF Building, School of Behavioural Forensics, NFSU. The notice places the interview at the school itself on the Gandhinagar campus.
The session begins at 11:00 AM onwards. Keep the school name, building and floor in mind when planning your arrival for the walk-in; these are the venue details given in the project notice.
